The 2010 Honda Insight Tanabe manufactured Medalion Touring-Silent Motoring has an elegant and well defined appearance. This exhaust system achieves extremely high levels of efficiency, while maintaining a street driveable, extremely low frequency and deep tone that is well under 93db for discreet sports.
 
Features
This 2010 Honda Insight exhaust system is made with internal packing named Advantex, which allows the muffler to reduce sounds more, and with less material, while maintaining extremely high flow characteristics. This material is much more effective than other packaging material types such as loose packaged fiberglass mats and composites. Because of the Advantex packaging material, the canister can be much slimmer, weigh less, and reduce sound more than other systems that require large bulky canisters or multiple sub-mufflers. The dual walled tip reduces the amount of exhaust resonation. Because of the thinwall piping, the weight of this exhaust system is significantly reduced. The exhaust system also features a hollow exhaust hangar and pressed flanges-all to help reduce the overall weight of the system.

A trademark of the Tanabe exhaust system is the extremely clean, low, deep tone that is both pleasant and aggressive at all RPM ranges.
